Lava Xtron

Lava has complemented the Etab Xtron with a 7-inch with an IPS Multi-touch display which bears a display resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. It runs on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system. In order to make the tablet powerful, Lava has provided it with a 1.5GHz Dual-core Cortex A9 processor along with 1GB of RAM and a Mali-400 GPU.

The other features of the Etab Xtron includes a 2-megapixel front facing camera, an 8GB Internal Memory which may be further expanded up to 32GB via Micro SD Card.

On the connectivity front, the Etab Xtron includes USB, 3G and Wi-Fi as its features. It has been fueled with a 3500 mAh battery.

ROOT WHAT IS IT?

Rooting is allowing you to have full access to the root files of your device so that you have full control over what and how your device operates. In other words with Root you can do all sort’s of cool stuff with your phone or tablet by customizing it, modifying it, making backups, removing apps, adding new systems or ROM’s, and you can have multiple systems on one device.

When you buy a new computer you have “Administrator Privileges ” which mean you can do anything you want to change your computer. Unfortunately when you buy a phone, you do not have those same privileges. The major phone carriers do not want you to have that control. You have applications and processes running on your phone that you cannot stop or remove. We think this is wrong. Rooting your phone allows you to use a “Root Only” applications that are on the Google Play store, these applications need “Permission” and when you have Root you can either Allow or Deny that Permission.

Rooting also allows you to install custom recoveries to do backups or remove and install an entirely new ROM or operating system on your smartphone or tablet. Rooting is also different from ” Jailbreaking ” on an Iphone because Apple’s OS is closed source and so Jailbreaking only allows the user to use a different market or store of apps, you still cannot change the operating system and you do not have access to the Root files. Android is ” Open Source ” and we can change everything, well almost everything.

Instruction:

Download the Lava Xtron JB7 Root package. Unzip the package to your desktop

On your device, go to Settings > Developer Options and enable USB Debugging

Also go to Settings > Storage > Options > USB Computer connection and change it from MTP to Mass Storage

Remove the external SD card on your device, if you've added one

Connect your phone to your PC via the OEM supplied USB cable. Wait till Windows finishes setting up the drivers

Open ADB driver installer. You should ideally get a No Issues Found response. It will automaticaly install your ADB Drivers.

Then open root708dcc and sit back and relax while the tool does its thing
